Anastazyia Vareschi, LPC, SEP, CRC

I help people process and renegotiate trauma, supporting their journey to become the people, partners, or parents they want to be. By using an approach that focuses on body and mind, the people I partner with are able to tap into their innate capacity to metabolize and heal from trauma.

Maybe you feel yourself disappearing or making yourself small in relationships, or you’re having trouble naming and getting what you need or want out of life.

We might be a good match if life is feeling out of balance, stuck, or like you’re on autopilot just “getting through.”

My approach is grounded in somatic or body-based interventions (Somatic Experiencing, Brainspotting, and polyvagal informed interventions). By working through the channels of the body and nervous system, it’s possible to rebuild confidence and restore personal power and safety.

Our work together will promote flexibility and resilience to face life’s difficulties while building capacity to experience joy and connection.

about anastazyia vareschi, lpc, lcpc, crc, sep

My therapeutic approach is shaped by both personal and clinical experience, and I engage the therapeutic process with empathy and curiosity. Training in Somatic Experiencing, mindfulness, and trauma-informed yoga provide a grounded framework for navigating the complex mind-body-spirit connection.

I studied Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling (M.S.) at the University of Massachusetts Boston, with a focus on working with women and Veterans with disabilities. My post graduate training has focused on trauma, attachment, Somatic Experiencing, Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems Therapy, polyvagal theory, CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, traumatic dissociation, and intergenerational trauma.

In 2025, I completed the Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) credential, which has equipped me with skills to support clients in gently releasing longstanding and acute trauma, restoring regulation, and building resilience.

I’m independently licensed to practice psychotherapy in Maryland (LC12760), Washington, DC (PRC200001477), and Georgia (LPC014523). I also hold a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor credential from the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification.
